Four rules we won't break

What you'll never see on a HelpRush invoice.

  1. 01

    What you see is what you pay.

    The price quoted at booking is the price on the invoice. Parts are itemised separately and only after you approve them.

  2. 02

    GST shown only when due.

    If your provider is GST-registered, you see the GST line. If they're not (most independent pros aren't), you don't pay GST. We don't fake-add it.

  3. 03

    No hidden 'convenience' fee.

    Default convenience fee is 0%. If we ever add one (e.g., for instant card payment), it's a separate, labelled line.

  4. 04

    Cancel free up to dispatch.

    Cancel before a pro accepts: ₹0. Cancel after dispatch: a flat trip-fee covers the pro's lost time — never a percentage of the job.

Tier eligibility is earned via Trust Score + jobs completed + rating threshold. Subscriptions unlock the lower commission rate.

Projects · the third lane

Bigger jobs run on a 10% platform fee.

For multi-day jobs (renovations, full-home painting, construction), we move from per-job commission to a flat 10% platform fee. Money sits in escrow milestone-by-milestone, released only on your approval.

We pay GST on our commission. We don't fake-add it to your bill.

Service GST

Customer ↔ Provider

If your provider is GST-registered (most independent pros are not), the invoice carries a GST line. If they're not, no GST. HelpRush is an aggregator — we don't add GST on the service itself.

Platform GST

HelpRush → Government

We pay 18% GST on our commission revenue, mandatory under Indian aggregator rules. Tracked on every settlement, filed quarterly. This is our cost of doing business — not yours.
