Cancellation
What it costs if you cancel.
Before a Pro accepts

No charge — the dispatch hasn't gone anywhere yet.
After dispatch, before Pro arrives
Trip fee · ₹49–₹149 by category
Covers the Pro's lost time and travel. Flat fee, never a percentage of the job. The exact fee is shown on the cancel screen before you confirm.
After Pro arrives, before work starts
Trip fee + minimum visit fee
If you cancel after the Pro is at your door, the visit fee for the category applies — even if no work is done.
After work has started
Pay for completed work + materials
You owe for whatever has been done. The Pro logs progress with photos so disputes are clean.
Refunds
When we refund.

Job not completed.
If the Pro could not complete the work for a reason on our side (no-show, equipment failure, walked off mid-job), we refund 100% within 3 working days. Trip fee applies if you cancelled, not us.

Quality dispute.
If the work failed within the warranty window for the category (typically 30 days), we send another Pro at no charge to redo it. If a fix isn't possible, we refund the affected portion of the bill.

Property damage caused by the Pro.
Email hello@helprush.in within 48 hours of the incident with photos, the job ID, and a description. Eligible categories are insured under our aggregate policy; we triage and respond within 3 working days.

Charged but no service.
If you were charged without a corresponding completed job (system error, accidental tap), we reverse the charge within 5 working days of confirming.
How long
Refunds settle within 5 working days.
UPI / wallet refunds are usually instant once approved. Card refunds take 3–5 working days depending on your bank. Cash payments are refunded as HelpRush wallet credit by default — convertible to bank transfer on request.
