How do I book a pro?
Open /book on the web or the HelpRush app, pick what's broken, set your location (we'll auto-detect), choose Now or Scheduled. Verified pros respond in seconds for the NOW lane.
What's the difference between Now and Scheduled?
NOW dispatches in real-time to the closest available pro within 5 km — useful for urgent issues. SCHEDULED books a slot up to 14 days ahead and dispatches up to 10 km out, which is more flexible for planned work.
Can I request a specific pro?
Yes. Visit /pros, find the pro, and tap Book. RushHour will route the job to them first if they're available. If they're not, you'll get the next best match unless you explicitly wait.
How do I know my pro is verified?
Every pro on HelpRush has a public profile (e.g. /pros/bilal-wani) showing their DigiLocker-verified KYC, Skill Verification Engine certifications per category, Trust Score, and rating history. We don't dispatch a pro who hasn't passed every layer.

How do I pay?
Cash on completion is the default at launch. Online payment (UPI, cards, net banking via PhonePe) and wallet payment ship in a future release.
Will I see GST on my bill?
Only if your pro is GST-registered. Most independent pros are not, in which case no GST applies on the service. HelpRush pays 18% GST on its commission to the government — that's our cost, not yours. See /pricing for the full breakdown.
Why does the final price differ from the quote?
It shouldn't, except for parts. Service prices quoted at booking are the price you pay. If parts are needed, the pro itemises them separately and only proceeds after you approve.

Can I cancel after booking?
Yes, free until a pro accepts. After dispatch, a flat trip-fee applies to cover the pro's travel. After arrival, a visit fee applies. Full policy: /legal/refunds.
I'm unhappy with the work — what do I do?
Most categories carry a 30-day workmanship guarantee. We'll send another pro at no charge to redo the work. If a fix isn't possible, we refund the affected portion. Email hello@helprush.in or use the support button in the app.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds settle within 5 working days. UPI/wallet refunds are usually instant once approved.

How do I sign in?
Phone OTP. No password. Same account works on web (helprush.in) and the HelpRush apps.
How do I delete my account?
From the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete account. Or email hello@helprush.in. We process deletions within 7 working days. Some data is retained for 7 years to comply with Indian tax law — see /legal/privacy.
Where is my data stored?
All HelpRush data is stored in India (DigitalOcean Bangalore region). We do not transfer personal data outside India without your consent.

How do I become a HelpRush pro?
Apply on /partner/apply — five minutes on web. Then download the Partner app, complete DigiLocker KYC and the Skill Verification quiz for each category you offer. Most pros take their first job within 48 hours of applying.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. Basic tier is free at 20% commission. Pro tier is ₹499/month at 12%. Elite tier is ₹999/month at 8%. Tier eligibility is earned by Trust Score + jobs completed + rating. Full details: /partner/tiers.
When do I get paid?
Daily auto-payout to your bank by default. Instant payout (1% fee) is available 24/7 in the app.
