Refund & Cancellation Policy

At HelpRush, we strive to ensure every service experience is satisfactory. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and disputes are handled. All bookings and payments occur through the HelpRush mobile app.
1. Cancellation by Customer
- Before provider assignment: You may cancel free of charge from the app.
- After provider assignment but before arrival: A nominal cancellation fee may apply to compensate the provider for time and travel.
- After service has started: Cancellation is not permitted once work has commenced. You may raise a dispute if you are unsatisfied with the service quality.
2. Cancellation by Provider
Providers may cancel before arriving at the location. Repeated cancellations by a provider affect their TrustScore and may lead to account restrictions. If a provider cancels, the customer is not charged and the platform will attempt to assign an alternative provider.
3. Cancellation by HelpRush
HelpRush may cancel a booking if no provider is available, a safety concern is identified, or a policy violation is detected. In such cases, any amount charged will be refunded in full.
4. Refund Eligibility
- Full refund: booking cancelled before provider assignment, or cancelled by HelpRush / provider.
- Partial refund: service was incomplete, substandard, or materially different from what was booked (assessed on a case-by-case basis).
- No refund: service was completed satisfactorily, or cancellation occurred after work commenced without a valid dispute.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Open the HelpRush app and go to your order history.
- Select the relevant order and tap “Help with this order”.
- Choose “Request Refund” and provide details and any supporting evidence (photos, messages).
- Our support team will review the request and respond within 48 hours.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method.
- Processing time: 5–7 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
- In some cases, refunds may be issued as HelpRush credits for future bookings (with your consent).
7. Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of a refund request, you may escalate the matter by emailing support@helprush.in or calling +91-8899200543. We aim to resolve all disputes fairly and transparently, and may request evidence from both the customer and the provider.
8. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Services completed as described and accepted by the customer.
- Refund requests raised more than 7 days after service completion.
- Issues arising from customer-provided incorrect information (wrong address, incomplete requirements, etc.).
