Data Deletion

Option A — From the App

1. Open the HelpRush app and go to your profile / settings.
2. Tap “Account” → “Delete My Account”.
3. Confirm the request. You will receive an email acknowledgment.

Option B — Via Email

Send an email to privacy@helprush.in with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include the phone number or email address associated with your HelpRush account. We will verify your identity before processing.

• Your account profile and login credentials.
• Personal information (name, email, phone number).
• Order history and booking details.
• Ratings and reviews you have submitted.
• In-app chat and support ticket history.
• eKYC / identity verification data (for providers).

Certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Transaction and payment records (as required by tax and financial regulations, typically retained for up to 7 years).
• Data necessary for fraud prevention, legal claims, or dispute resolution.
• Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you.

• We acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
• Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification.
• You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

• Your account will be permanently deactivated and cannot be recovered.
• Any pending bookings will be cancelled. Active disputes must be resolved before deletion can proceed.
• Providers: any outstanding payouts will be processed before account closure.
• You are free to create a new account in the future, but previous data will not be restored.
